The government website Childcare Choices, which brings together all the government childcare offers for the first time has gone live. This website allows parents to sign up for tax free childcare and check their eligibility for 30 hours free childcare. Parents can check their eligibility for 30 hours free childcare and will be able to receive an eligibility code through the system now. . An eligible code number will begin with the prefix 500 and be 11 digits long. If parents have any queries or questions on their 30 hour free childcare application, they can contact the HMRC helpline on 0300 123 4097
Please download, complete and return your Parent Declaration Form to Apple Daycare, once you have your 30 hours funding code.
If you only qualify for 15 hours funding, please complete the Parent Declaration Form, leaving the 30 hours section empty.
NB: Some children qualify for 15 hours funding in the term after their second birthday, whereas all children are eligible to claim 15 hours funding in the term after they turn 3 years old. The new additional 15 hours (making up to 30 Hours) is available to those families who meet the criteria.
