Nursery, Pre-School, After School Club & Holiday Club @ Oxlease House

Apple Daycare at Oxlease House is set just in front of Oxlease nature reserve and playing fields and shares a car park with the Hatfield Fitness Centre.

Oxlease House is Apple Daycare's fifth setting and provides care for the birth to 5 years age group. This is a stand alone setting surrounded by its own private garden. 

 

Oxlease House is managed by Charlotte [Level 3] and she is ably assisted by a team of caring and experienced practitioners ranging from apprentices to Level 3. Our in-house chef is Abbie who prepares a variety of fresh home cooked meals each day and many baking activities with the children.

Our main focus at Oxlease House is to promote the early years foundation stage.  We use our tracking and planning software to create a bespoke learning experience for your child.

​

The day is planned and focuses on child led play, punctuated with adult led activities such as story frog, painting and craft.  Each day we conduct woodland walks to the nature reserve at the back of Oxlease House.  We encourage the children to walk as much as they can and for those unsteady on their feet there is always a pushchair or buggy to help with a ride.

Each day we report your child's activities through our digital online learning journal where you will see what they did and when and it will be accompanied by a few photographs and a vignette which describes a significant moment as well as our general preschool activities we work with Best Theatre Company for drama skills, Little Club for street dance and sensory music sessions, impact sports and Super Star Sports offer a wide variety of sporting activities.  We also celebrate many different cultural events throughout the year.

All food is freshly prepared from scratch and is age appropriate.
