Highly Trained Professionals

All of our staff receive regular safeguarding training and are committed to keeping their knowledge up to date with current legislation and best practice.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Deputy DSL receive enhanced specialist training and are responsible for leading safeguarding practice across the nursery, ensuring concerns are responded to promptly, professionally and in line with local safeguarding procedures.

Our recruitment processes are rigorous and include enhanced DBS checks, thorough reference checks and safer recruitment practices to ensure every adult working with our children is suitable for their role.

Working Together with Families

We believe that the best outcomes for children come from strong partnerships between home and nursery. We work closely with parents and carers, sharing information openly and respectfully wherever appropriate, always keeping the child's best interests at the centre of every decision.

If we ever have concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing, we have clear procedures in place to ensure concerns are handled sensitively, professionally and in accordance with national safeguarding guidance and local authority procedures.
